The Tonnellerie Val De Loire was established in 1927 and is a family owned business. We are pride ourselves on producing oak barrels of the very highest quality, traditionally made in Bordeaux or Burgundy style. We are able to give an assurance as to the quality of our barrels for one simple reason: we work with only one staves supplier, Vriet Frères, who in turn is able to provide us with documented evidence as to authenticity of their staves.
Handcrafted barrels from the heart of France. The Val de Loire barrels are recognized as very elegant, with long multilayered flavors and fruit-defining aromatics. We offer barrels up to 600L in size. We also offer acacia wood barrels.
