Audio system repels deer with digital alarm recordings
Bird Gard LLC, maker of audio-deterrent systems for protecting crops from birds, has released Deer Shield PRO. The new audio system employs digital recordings of alarmed, hostile and territorial deer broadcast through high-fidelity, weather-resistant speakers to trigger a primal flee response in deer. Astrapouch doubles capacity
The new 3-liter pouch by Astrapouch now holds twice the volume of the company’s other pouches. The pouch can be hand-filled and offer more marketing space for labels and logos. Details: astrapouch-na.com.

Spray ball added to cleaning product lineup
Lechler Inc. now offers a high-capacity spray ball for its line of tank-cleaning products. The new Series 591 slip-on nozzle comes in various sizes from ¼-inch to 2 inches. The company also has released a tangential air nozzle to prevent the oxidation of welds.  Details: lechlerusa.com.

PureSpray GREEN listed as organic
Listed organic through the Organic Materials Review Institute, the PureSpray GREEN spray provides insect and disease control. Details: purespraygreen.com.

Pour ‘N Save offers wine pour accuracy
The Pour ‘N Save device is designed to ensure pouring accuracy through measurement and control. Made of brushed stainless steel, it holds three pieces of stemware and can be adjusted for tasting amounts or full glass pours. Details: pour-n-save.com.

Quest unveils foil application process
Quest Industries LLC introduced a foil application process and decal decorating that it says are cheaper alternatives to adorning bottles with precious metal inks or multi-pass application processes. Details: questllc.com.

Maverick introduces CapASleeve
Wine capsule manufacturer Maverick Enterprises created a new product line called CapASleeve. The CapASleeve comes in five colors, multiple diameters and with an optional tear strip. Details: maverickcaps.com.

Parkson releases largest version of WashPress system
Parkson Corp. introduced a larger version of its Aqua WashPress system for wastewater and industrial water treatment. Details: parkson.com.

Condensing unit offers indoor/outdoor split wine cellar-cooling system
Wine Guardian has developed a new ducted, split wine cellar cooling system. The condensing unit comes with its own housing, which makes it suitable for outdoor use. Details: wineguardian.com.

Summer shipper keeps wine cool
ACH Foam Technologies designed its Wineloc recycled wine shipper to keep bottles cool from the heat of summer. The new six- and 12-pack wine shippers provide a constant stable temperature of 80°F or less for approximately 72 hours. Details: achfoam.com.

Fertilizer injector designed for irrigation systems
Dosatron International Inc. unveiled its new 40 gpm fertilizer injector for irrigation systems. The new injector offers improved chemical-resistant housing, enhanced UV resistance, allows injection of corrosive chemicals and features adjustable injection rates. Details: dosatronusa.com.

Phase one of low power transmitter comes online
Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc. launched the first phase of its low power transmitter (LPT) available for carbon monoxide or nitrogen dioxide electrochemical sensors. Phyterra releases new yeast strains
Phyterra Yeast Inc. released three new yeast strains developed to yield low levels of hydrogen sulfide and total S02 levels. Two of the yeasts, Vivace and Allegro, are for white wines, and Andante is for reds. The new low-sulfide yeasts were developed with “classical breeding methods.” Details: phyterra.com.
