Fourth winery opens in Delaware
Marydel, Del.—Harvest Ridge Winery opened Nov. 1, making it the fourth operating winery in the state of Delaware. The estate winery is owned and operated by Chuck and Chris Nunan, their son Chip and other family members. The Nunans purchased the property in 2005 and planted vines in 2010. Harvest Ridge hired winemaker Milan Mladjan this summer. The property includes a 6,250-square-foot production facility as well as a 5,000-square-foot space for events and wine tasting. Harvest Ridge is situated on the Mason-Dixon Line, and an original Mason-Dixon crownstone marker is located on the property. Details: harvestridgewinery.com.
