Jeff White named Virginia Grower of the Year
Charlottesville, Va.—Jeff White, owner and winemaker of Glen Manor Vineyards in Fort Royal, Va., received the Virginia Vineyards Association’s (VVA) Grape Grower of the Year award. White planted his first six acres of vines in 1995 and founded his winery in 2006. In 2012, White won the state’s Governor’s Cup award for a 2009 red Bordeaux blend. “Jeff is one of the industry leaders who is helping put Virginia on the map, and he is more than deserving of this honor,” said Tom Kelly, president of VVA.
