Guarachi Family purchases Napa Valley vineyard
Sebastopol, Calif.—Guarachi Family Wines announced its purchase of Meadowrock, a 62-acre vineyard in the Atlas Peak AVA of Napa Valley. The deal is the second vineyard purchase by Guarachi, which acquired Sun Chase vineyard in Sonoma County last year. Meadowrock includes 30 acres of vines at 1,400 to 1,760 feet elevation. Most of the vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, but the property also includes Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, according to a statement released by Guarachi Family Wines.
