Infinite Monkey coming to Austin

Denver, Colo.—The Infinite Monkey Theorem urban winery, IMT, announced plans to open a new winery in Austin, Texas. IMT has been based in Denver, Colo., since 2008 and produces a line of wines made with grapes grown in Colorado. The new Austin operation will be housed in a 6,000-square-foot space and feature a tasting room, event space and wine production equipment. The winery will also be the home of Iron Monkey Kegging Co., which provides keg-filling services for wineries and distributors. “The Infinite Monkey Theorem will definitely play its role to help keep Austin weird,” said founder and winemaker Ben Parsons. “We’ve had many opportunities and considered a number locations nationwide for our next urban winery. Texas is another exciting emerging wine region and we see a lot of potential for the Infinite Monkey Theorem to play an innovative role in its growth.”
