New York, N.Y.—Antonio Galloni’s start-up wine review website Vinous announced it will acquire Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, IWC. Vinous will add IWC’s archive to its website, which will now be home to more than 180,000 wine reviews and more than 1,000 articles on a platform that also incorporates video, interactive maps and a real-time user forum. Tanzer will join Galloni as partner, editor-in-chief and lead critic.

Galloni is the former lead critic of Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate and launched Vinous in May 2013.
