Canton joins tree-planting effort
Windsor, Calif.—Canton Cooperage announced it has partnered with American Forests, a nonprofit group committed to planting trees for environmental restoration. The barrel maker will contribute a portion of its sales revenue to the replanting of native trees in U.S. forests through American Forests’ Global ReLeaf program. “Trees are vital to our lives and the lives of future generations,” said Guillaume de Pracomtal the chairman of Canton. “Trees are also essential to Canton’s barrel making craft and to the art of winemaking.”
