Walnut Creek, Calif.—AgroThermal, which produces hot-air equipment for pest control and vineyard treatments, announced it will sell its machines and services in Oregon through Pierre Paradis and Rainbow Valley Enterprises. Paradis’ family owns 50 acres of vineyards near Silverton, Ore., and he launched his custom farming company three years ago. AgroThermal, which is based in California, reports more trials conducted in Oregon in 2014 further back claims the company's hot-air treatment can improve fruit set and wine quality.
