Cascade expands services

Portland, Ore.—Cascade Wine Services, which has provided mobile crossflow filtration services to Northwest wineries since 2009, is expanding its services to include mobile bottling and reverse osmosis equipment. Cascade Wine Services owner Andy Diacetis has partnered with Caz Werp of Infinite Wave Bottling & Consulting in Seattle, Wash. to offer mobile wine bottling services to its Oregon customers, in addition to mobile filtration; Infinite Wave will bottle for Washington customers.

Cascade purchased a RO system, which can remove VA, smoke taint and other impurities, in August and expects to offer that service in October. "I was getting a call every other week asking if we were offering VA removal," Diacetis said in a statement. "It was clear that there was a need for somebody to offer the service locally, so I finally invested in the equipment."
