Promotions at Jackson Family Wines

Santa Rosa, Calif.—Rick Tigner has been promoted from president to chief executive officer of Jackson Family Wines, and Hugh Reimers was promoted to the post of president. Tigner has been with Jackson Family Wines for 25 years and had been president since 2010. As CEO, Tigner will report to Barbara Banke, chairman of the board and Don Hartford, vice chairman.

According to a statement announcing the promotions, Tigner joined Jackson Family Wines in 1991 and rapidly advanced through its sales department. He was named executive vice president in 2001 and was promoted to president, Jackson Family Enterprises, in 2010. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Vinexpo and the Michael J. Fox Foundation, helping to raise money to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Reimers joined the company in 2009 and most recently served as chief operating officer. In addition to continuing to oversee all wine production, Reimers will be responsible for global sales and marketing. Prior to joining Jackson Family Wines, Reimers had more than 15 years of winemaking experience in positions such as chief winemaker at Constellation Wines.
