Napa, Calif.—Daryl Eklund has been named U.S. sales manager for Spanish cork supplier Parramon as the company begins to serve the U.S. industry. Eklund has more than 20 years of winemaking experience at several Napa Valley wineries and a decade of experience in cork sales.

Parramon is located near Barcelona and sells corks to more than 800 clients in 13 countries. The company laser-brands all of its corks winery logos and graphics and uses “only the highest quality” wood from Spanish oak forests that it cures for a year before using to produce corks and its line of Microtech composite corks.
