Details

The Lodi Winegrape Commission represents 750 growers who farm over 110,000 acres of winegrapes in San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties, east of the San Francisco Bay. Since the establishment of the Commission in 1991, the number of wineries in the Lodi region has increased to over 85. In addition to Lodi's famed old vine Zinfandel, the region produces award-winning Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Albarino, and a number of rare but treasured varieties like Kerner. In 2015, Lodi was awarded Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
