  API unveiled a custom decorative holography service called Holonique Boutique. The custom design service can integrate the supplier’s holographic foil and film into a packaging program to add an extra dimension.
  Astoria-Pacific is now offering the rAPID-T analyzer with a new enzymatic testing system for wine analysis. The supplier reports the machine can run multiple analysis without requiring a set up change, reagent consumption is lower than other models and requires less maintenance because it does not use pump tubes, transmission tubing or dialysis membranes.
  Columbia Label announced it had acquired a new HP Indigo WS6800 digital press to “enhance its custom and specialty wine label and packaging production.” The supplier claims it now has the latest model of such printers on the West Coast.
Cooperages 1912 recently announced a scholarship donation of $10,000 per year for the next five years to the Wine Business Institute at Sonoma State University, totaling $50,000.   The Boswell Company unveiled the Eclat "Hydro" barrels from Jean-Christophe Varron and Tonnellerie VINEA in Cognac. According to the supplier, the barrels are produced with French oak staves that are steamed using magnetized water in a pressurized, high temperature tank for 30 minutes.
