Calistoga, Calif.—Rebecca George was promoted to the post of winemaker at Kelly Fleming Wines. George had been the assistant winemaker at the winery for more than two years. In addition to working at other wineries in California, George has worked at wineries in France and Australia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in viticulture and enology from University of California, Davis, and in 2005 won the Confréie des Chevaliers du Tastevin Fellowship to work in Burgundy.
