Promotions at V. Sattui, Castello di Amorosa
St. Helena, Calif.—Laura Orozco is the new winemaker at V. Sattui winery in St. Helena and Peter Velleno the new winemaker at Castello di Amorosa in Calistoga. Both Orozco and Velleno had been associate winemakers at their respective wineries, which are both owned by Dario Sattui. Before joining V. Sattui, Orozco worked in winemaking at Franciscan Estate and Velleno was the winemaker at Hartwell Vineyards in Napa Valley before joining Castello di Amorosa.
