The packaging firm Ardagh Group has finalized the acquisition of Verallia North America from Saint-Gobain. The Luxembourg-based buyer first announced its intention to purchase the glass manufacturer in 2013, but the Federal Trade Commission said the deal could only proceed if Verallia sold six manufacturing plants that belonged to a subsidiary.
