Irving, Texas—One of the largest international wine exhibitions, ProWein, is now the title sponsor of the Texsom Conference. ProWein, replaces the Wine & Food Foundation of Texas as the main sponsor of the trade only event that takes place Aug. 14 in Las Colinas, Texas and features tastings and presentations by master sommeliers, masters of wine and certified wine educators. The founders of the Texas conference reached a deal for sponsorship while attending ProWein. “TEXSOM is an ideal platform for us to directly reach the U.S. wine industry with all its top wine buyers and decision makers,” said Marius Berlemann, global head of wine and spirits at Messe Düsseldorf. "North America is one of the most important international visitor markets for ProWein.”
