Santa Rosa, Calif.—Adolfo Hernandez is the new assistant winemaker at Benovia Winery, a family owned winery located just east of the Russian River. Hernandez was formerly harvest enologist at Pahlmeyer Winery in St. Helena, Calif and prior to that position, he worked as assistant winemaker for Checkboard Vineyards in Calistoga, Calif. In his new role, Hernandez will help oversee production of all Benovia’s wines, including their estate-grown pinot noir and chardonnay.
