Stone Hill wins Missouri Gov's Cup

Jefferson City, Mo.—Stone Hill Winery’s 2015 Norton won the Missouri Governor’s Cup at the 2017 Missouri Wine Competition, the highest honor of the competition. The winner was selected from nine Best of Class honorees chosen from the 308 wines tasted over the course of the two-day competition designed to recognize and promote Missouri state wines.

"This competition truly showcases the top wines in Missouri," said Jim Anderson, executive director of the Missouri Wine and Grape Board, in the press release announcing the winner. "More than 250 medals were awarded at this year's competition which is a direct reflection of the quality of wines Missouri is producing."
