Napa, Calif.—Glass decoration supplier Monvera Glass Décor announced it received three awards at the 31st annual Package Printing Excellence Awards in Philadelphia, Pa. The awards included best in show for a beer bottle label that featured shoulder and neck printing on a glass bottle printed with a Fermac RUV machine with computer numerical control technology. According to a press release by Monvera, the two-color label was printed using five printing stations to facilitate the 360° wrapping around the shoulder and neck of the bottle. The same label also won first place in the screen labels category in which another label, Monvera produced for Cool Fish Wines, won third. The Cool Fish Wines label was produced with a four-color process screen print with UV ink.
