Anderson Valley Winegrowers changes events

Philo, Calif.—The Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association announced several changes to its upcoming events. The group is holding A Taste of Anderson Valley on Nov. 9 featuring trade and consumer tastings plus a silent silent auction to benefit North Bay fire relief efforts at The Presidio of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Club in San Francisco, Calif.

In December, the Association will host two Holiday Passport Weekend events, Dec. 9-10 and 16-17, with several local wineries offering wine tastings, holiday decorations and crafts and toy donation boxes to be distributed to local children by the Anderson Valley Fire Department.

The annual February International Alsace Varietals Festival, to be held Feb. 24-25, 2018, is now the Anderson Valley Aromatic White Wine Festival, to reflect a more diverse sampling international regions and will highlight a variety of whites including Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Muscat.

The 21st annual Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival, scheduled for May 18-20, 2018, will be held at Camp Navarro event center. And finally, the Anderson Valley Barrel Tasting Weekend will be held this July 21-22, 2018.
