Napa, Calif.—William Kelly has joined the Wine Advocate newsletter and RobertParker.com as reviewer covering Burgundy, Chablis, Beaujolais, California’s Central Coast and Washington state. Kelly attended Oxford University where he studied history at St. John’s College and was the president of the Oxford University Wine Circle for four years. Kelly is a former correspondent for Decanter magazine and contributor for The Robb Report and Noble Rot. The Wine Advocate editor Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, will also take over coverage of Bordeaux for the newsletter and website. According to the press release announcing the changes, the Wine Advocate team plans to produce more than 50,000 wine reviews by 2020 and will announce other new reviewers in early 2018.
