Ukiah, Calif.—The French company Sparflex Group acquired capsule producer Maverick Enterprises. Sparflex already owns Rivercap USA. Maverick was founded in 1992 and is based in Ukiah, Calif. The team at Maverick will continue management of the Ukiah facility with the support of Sparflex and its subsidiaries. Sparflex is based in Epernay, France and boasts annual sales of $120 million and maintains production facilities in France, Spain, Australia and the U.S. “We welcome Maverick Enterprises to the Sparflex family of leading brands,” said Michel Soutiran, president of Sparkflex in the statement announcing the acquisition. “We’re determined to strengthen business development in the U.S. and with this acquisition we are well positioned to offer customers better access to local production operations and service.”
