St. Helena, Calif.—Joseph Phelps Vineyards appointed Clarice Turner as its new president. Prior to joining Phelps, Turner founded and was CEO of Carneros Associates, a strategic advisory firm guiding vision, strategy and culture for businesses in transition. She has served as a senior management executive of best in class companies in the food and beverage industry, as well as gained meaningful experience with small and medium sized family businesses, always with the thread of wine present. Turner will remain an advisory board director for Delicato Family Vineyards, serving on the Culinary Institute of America Society of Fellows, advisory board director for Women of the Vine & Spirits, and Emeritus board director for the National Restaurant Association.
