Pennsylvania liquor agency earned $2.17 billion in revenue
Harrisburg, Pa.—The Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores managed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board made $2.17 billion in revenue during the 2012-13 fiscal year, according to the board’s annual report. The state’s 41 retail locations earned net income of $128 million, which represented a 24% increase over the previous fiscal year. In its report, the board attributed some of the retail sales growth to the “wine retail specialists” staff at "Premium Collection locations.” The specialists help educate consumers and conduct educational tastings.
