Napa, Calif.—The Wine Industry Symposium Group appointed Lisa Adams Walter as its new director of programs. Adams Walter has run her own PR consulting firm, Adams Walter Communications, for 15 years, and will simultaneously continue in that role. Her prior professional experience includes working as the director of marketing and public relations for Wine Business Publications, for the Napa Valley Vintners Association on the second Premiere Napa Valley and as the director of public relations for the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance. She currently serves as the assistant executive director of the Academy of Wine Communications as well as an appointed representative on the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee to the Napa County Board of Supervisors.
