Rutherford, Calif.—Long Meadow Ranch winery announced it had placed 11 acres of its land in Napa Valley under a conservation easement through The Land Trust of Napa County. The easement allows for the land to be used for agriculture as well as solar and wind energy. The property is part of the future site of Long Meadow Ranch’s 90-acre Rutherford estate.
