Celebration of life for Fugelsang set for May 13

Fresno, Calif.—Friends, family, alumni and former colleagues are invited to a celebration of life to Ken Fugelsang who died Feb. 20 at the age of 70. The event will take place at 1:30 on May 13 at California State University, Fresno. The Fugelsang family and university are creating a memorial book of Fugelsang and would appreciate comments, pictures and stories sent to cynthiaw@csufresno.edu.

Wine for a toast will be supplied by the university's teaching winery, but organizers invite anyone making wine who was influenced by Fugelsang to bring or send a bottle. The organizers also ask attendees to RSVP before May 1 by calling 559-288-9189 or sending an email to haveagrapeday48@gmail.com.

The family requests that remembrances be made to the scholarship fund in Fugelsang's name through the Fresno State Ag One Foundation. This scholarship is awarded to students pursuing degrees in enology. Mail to: Ag One, 2910 E. Barstow Avenue, MS OF115, Fresno, CA 93740.
