Rohnert Park, Calif.—Sonoma State University’s School of Business and Economics announced Dean William S. Silver formed Rebuild North Bay, an organization dedicated to fire recovery efforts in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino, Lake and Solano counties. According to Silver, the organization will work with public and private leaders to address immediate funding needs, future environmental issues, assessment of recovery efforts, assessment of above ground infrastructure, future legislative reform and to partner with organizations that are raising funds for those impacted in the various communities. The North Bay Business Journal reports that Darius Anderson, a principal in Sonoma Media Investments, which owns The Press Democrat and the North Bay Business Journal among other media outlets, will spearhead the organization.
