Westfield, N.Y.—Shaun Patrick Smith is the new president and CEO of Lake Erie Wine Country. Formerly a United States Merchant Marine officer, Smith has held a variety of chief executive positions at the Grand Fallsview Hotel, the Boys and Girls Club and Buffalo Transportation. Smith replaces prior association president and author of Lake Erie Wine Country, Julie Ellis who has moved to South Carolina where she has taken a position in the tourism industry. The association represents 22 wineries located on the southern shore of Lake Erie.
