Benicia, Calif.—Cork Supply USA promoted Peter Hladun to vice president and general manager of Cork Supply USA. In his new role, Hladun will lead the development and implementation of the strategic plan for the closure supplier and report directly to the company’s founder and CEO Jochen Michalski. The company also announced Monika Michalski is the global brand manager for Cork Supply Group and will lead all marketing and communications for the Cork Supply brand and products. Greg Hirson was promoted to the post of senior technical services director and will continue to oversee quality control for Cork Supply USA and its cooperage Tonnellerie Ô. Tom Godfrey is the new director of operations for Cork Supply USA and Dinah Palaima is the new human resources director.
