Walnut Creek, Calif.—Marty Fischer, CEO of AgroThermal Systems announced that the German vineyard equipment supplier Clemens Vineyard Equipment will now design and manufacture AgroThermal Systems for the European Union and other international markets. Bernd Clemens, managing director of Clemens, said the company believes AgroThermal technology could help with pest control, fruit set and improving wine quality. The companies plan to have new equipment available for the 2015 harvest. The AgroThermal system is a tractor-pulled device that treats vines with a blast of hot air.
