Long time sales manager for Gusmer dies
Fresno, Calif.—Ken Stewart, who was a technical sales manager for Gusmer Enterprises for more than 18 years, died on April 8. Stewart handled beverage accounts in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada.
Gusmer released the following statement about Stewart:
"After graduating from Oregon State University, Ken had an active career in the juice industry. He had a wealth of expertise in juice processing and was dedicated to sharing his knowledge with others. Ken was very active in various educational programs including OSU and Washington State University. He was highly respected throughout the beverage industry, as a colleague, peer and mentor.
"Ken’s technical expertise was only surpassed by his kindness and generosity to others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and was active with various volunteer programs. Ken had a terrific sense of humor, and built many close friendships throughout the industry. He will certainly be missed."
