St. Helena, Calif.—Elizabeth Neuman is the new director of business development and Will Phelps is the new director of marketing at Joseph Phelps Vineyards in the Napa Valley. Both are also now members of the winery's executive management team. The two promotions are part of a long-term succession plan to ensure the winery remains family owned. Phelps and Neuman are grandchildren of winery founder Joe Phelps. Neuman joined the family business in 2011 after working as a wine consultant for Southern Wine & Spirits, and Phelps worked in sales for Trinitas Cellars before joining Joseph Phelps in 2012.
