Arizona winery to expand

Willcox, Ariz.—The owners of Carlson Creek Vineyard purchased a 14,000-square-foot building to house a new tasting room, fermentation cellar and space for aging and storing wine. The winery is also opening a new tasting room in Scottsdale, Ariz., this summer. “With both production and sales increasing, we are at a
time in our development where it’s necessary to expand in order to satisfy demand,” said co-owner Robert Carlson III.

Carlson added the new Scottsdale tasting room will help the winery reach consumers in the greater Phoenix area. The new building in Wilcox, near the winery’s 160-acre vineyard, is a former Chevrolet dealership that was built in the 1940s.
