Gevrey Chambertin, France—Tonnellerie Rousseau Pere & Fils secured ISO 22000 certification for its tank and cask cooperage in Burgundy. The certification follows the cooperage earning the same for its barrel workshop in 2013. In order to achieve the certification, the cooper reported it reinforced its procedures in terms of traceability, took steps to further prevent contamination and heightened requirements for its suppliers.
