Fairfield, Calif.—Glass producer Verallia announced the launch of SGP Packaging, a U.S.-based company serving North American wineries. The new division offers the entire Saint Gobain and Verallia packaging lines plus new options. The company claims it has the largest portfolio of products by drawing on more than 20 glass factories in Europe and two decoration plants. It offers stock items in more than 10 colors ranging in sizes from 50ml to 15L. SGP customers will now have access to shapes and colors not currently available in the United States, such as the Tradiver color developed by Verallia France for the Grands Crus of Bordeaux. “SGP Packaging represents a new major actor of the packaging industry with a different approach, products and services,” said vice president and general manager Jean Pierre "J-P" Giovanni.
