Ladoix-Serrigny, France—Since launching its “One Barrel, One Tree” campaign to plant a tree for every barrel it sells about a year ago, Tonnellerie Cadus announced it has planted more than 20,000 trees. The cooperage is working with a Burgundy nursery to tend to the young oak trees and a third party group to confirm the long-term health of the trees planted through the program.
