ETS to open in Southern Oregon
ETS Laboratories will open a satellite lab in Ump-qua Community College’s planned Southern Oregon Wine Institute. ETS, founded in 1978, is based in St. Helena, Calif., with additional branches in Sonoma, Calif., Walla Walla, Wash., and McMinnville, Ore.

Collotype adds label technology
The Napa, Calif., wine label supplier introduced Collotype Digital, with 7-color HP Indigo 45000, foil stamping, embossing, varnishing, laminating and die cutting for Indigo printed pressure sensitive labels. Collotype expects to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and Rainforest Alliance this month.
Charlois and Saury unite

NuKork files bankruptcy
The Australian manufacturer NuKork, the world’s second-largest synthetic cork provider, founded in 1996, cited debts of AUS $4 million. Court-appointed administrators are attempting to sell the business.
Chadwick joins IBG board
Direct sales technology/services provider Inertia Beverage Group (IBG) appointed Ray Chadwick, Wine Institute chairman and a director of Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines, to its board of directors.
