Winners in rosé contest

Jelly Jar Wines in Rutherford received “best wine” honors and a double-gold medal for its Lake County-sourced dry rosé in the inaugural First Blush contest. Organizers said the contest was California’s first competition exclusively for rosé wines. In the sweet wine category, top honors went to Ménage à Trois rosé by Trinchero Family Estates. Paso Robles was the most honored appellation with 10 medals including two golds.
