Christopher Barefoot joined Opus One Winery in Oakville as the vice president of public relations and guest relations. Barefoot most recently was the sales and marketing director for Flowers Vineyard & Winery in Cazadero. New assistant winemaker at Merryvale Simon Faury joined Merryvale Vineyards in St. Helena as assistant winemaker. Faury comes to the winery after working at wineries in France, Australia and Italy as well as Harlan Estate and The Napa Valley Reserve in California. Details: merryvale.com.
