Through its Golden Equity Investments (GEI) group, the Coors brewing family purchased Goosecross Cellars in Yountville. Christi Coors Ficeli, GEI manager, will be the winery’s new president and CEO. “Our focus will be to continue the tradition of producing high-quality wines as well as growing the brand to gain more national recognition,” Coors Ficeli said of her plans, which also include investing in the tasting room, winemaking facility and the estate “to enhance the experience for our patrons.”
