Rutherford, Calif. — Gary Pruitt, the president and CEO of the Associated Press, is a new member of the board of directors for Cakebread Cellars in Rutherford. Pruitt assumed his current position with the AP in 2012 after previously serving on the news organization’s board. Cakebread’s board is comprised of four members of the founding Cakebread family and three other directors: Robert H. Smiley, Jack Tankersley and Maggie Wilderotter.
