Sonoma, Calif.—The leaders of the Swedish wine club Munskänkarna named Sonoma and Napa counties its wine regions of the year in 2014. The group has more than 23,000 members in Sweden and Finland. According to the group Sonoma County Vintners, which hosted a delegation of Munskänkarna leaders, it’s the first time the organization has conferred the honor on an American wine region. The group will be offering seminars and tastings related to Sonoma and Napa county wineries in Sweden and Finland throughout the year. Details: munskankarna.se.
