Wasco, Calif.—Rick Burnes is the new senior vice president and general manager of Vintage Nurseries. Burnes has worked in agriculture for more than 20 years and pledged he's going to bring a fresh set of eyes to change things up at the nursery. “You will see substantial differences in our company over the next six to 12 months and I think you’re really going to like what you see." 

Vintage also hired Brad Kroeker as its new quality control manager. Kroeker is working to finish setting up the firm’s new testing lab. “We are totally committed to keeping our plants vigorous, healthy and free of contamination,” he said.
