Paso Robles, Calif.—ETS Laboratories, which is based in St. Helena, Calif., opened a new ISO-accredited laboratory in Paso Robles to serve the growing wine industry in California’s Central Coast. ISO 17025 accreditation requires ongoing audits and relates to a lab's ability to produce precise and accurate results. The new location also houses the Central Coast branch of Petaluma, Calif.-based Scott Laboratories, which sells fermentation products and winery equipment, to enable clients to drop off labs and pick up supplies. “What we provide from our labs is more than technology and precise data, we provide expertise,” says Dr. Richard DeScenzo, Microbiology Group Leader at ETS Laboratories.
