Winesecrets takes over Vinovation tech
American Winesecrets LLC assumed operations of Vinovation's licensed operation for reverse osmosis technologies and alcohol adjustment services in California and most of North America. Nomacorc hires sales manager
Nomacorc, Zebulon, N.C., producer of alternative wine closures, named Steven Billey its North American field sales manager, responsible for growing sales to private-label programs in the U.S. and Canada, and focusing on education programs through the current distribution network. Previously, he was vice president and national sales manager at Innovative Spirits. Nomacorc recently initiated a three-year project with Geisenheim Research Center in Germany to examine oxygen levels and the influence of bottling conditions in Riesling wines. Cork Supply augments lab staff
Cork Supply USA, Benicia, Calif., added Bruce Goto and Anish Prakash to its quality assurance laboratory staff. The staff will continue to grow, with the addition of a quality control supervisor for its VinOak-brand products, when the company moves to its new Benicia plant with lab space tripling to nearly 2,600 square feet.
