Saint-Gobain is climate leader
Saint-Gobain Containers Inc., Muncie, Ind., has joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Leaders program, pledging to reduce its corporate greenhouse gas emissions. As a member of the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI), the firm also plans to use 50% recycled content in its manufacturing process by 2013. The company recently released its second feature animation aimed at primary school children illustrating the importance of recycling glass containers.
