Napa, Calif.—Vicard Generation 7 announced Hillary Sjolund is the cooper’s new representative for Washington and Oregon. Sjolund is a consulting winemaker who also runs a harvest lab in Washington and is a board member of the Washington Wine Technical Group and teaches online winemaking courses for VESTA through Missouri State University. “I was fortunate to attend the Vicard Generation 7 tasting at the Wines & Vines Oak Seminar and what they’ve achieved with tannin selection and molecular toasting is astonishing,” Sjolund said in a statement released by the cooper. “I’m absolutely thrilled to represent this advanced technology in the Pacific Northwest.”
